We provide help for students of the human givens approach. Specifically we offer the following:
Help with video sessions
All human givens practitioners are required to submit videos of their work to show that they are both safe and effective. This may be done subsequent to passing the human givens diploma, or as part of the MA in human givens psychotherapy at Nottingham Trent University.
We provide a suitable therapy room and video equipment (and sometimes it is possible to also provide a client) for you to video your therapy session before submitting it for assessment. We set up the equipment and leave you to do your work. Afterwards, we transfer the video to DVD. We charge £50 for this service.
If you also want our opinion on your work we will review the session and give you our comments as a supervision session. We do need to charge extra for this work but many students have found it to be extremely useful.
Supervision
We can provide professional supervision for students of the human givens approach. Those on the MA course at Nottingham Trent University will know that they require formalised supervision as part of their course work.
Workshops
We run a weekend workshop “Building Confidence as a Therapist” designed to help newly qualified practitioners to become more effective and confident therapists. Some people benefit from extra help and encouragement to apply all that they have learned during their studies to the practical world of therapy.
