We are delighted to announce that the winner of the recent “phobia” competition is Nicola from Devizes. Congratulations to Nicola who will shortly receive her £50 cash prize. She correctly identified all 10 of the common phobias in our competition which took place at the recent “Thrive” dance event in Trowbridge Park on the 1st May 2010.

We have launched a new low cost therapy service which will run until the end of June. Now you can get the help you need for only £10 per session.

We asked those who attended our first weekly “Introductory Course” to the human givens approach for a better name. They came up with “Finding the Balance” - so we have renamed it. The next series starts on 13th April and runs for six weeks. All are welcome, but please contact us to book your place.

Our new workshop “Building Confidence as a Therapist” is proving very popular. There are now only a few places left on the April course so we will be adding another date in June shortly.

This may be of interest to you if you have completed the Diploma in human givens psychotherapy but have not yet submitted video sessions of your work, or if you qualified some time ago and feel that you would benefit from a refresher course in practical aspects of applying the human givens approach in therapy.

Come along to a series of guided discussions which will give you an introduction to the “givens” of human nature and a deeper understanding of this new way at looking and human and social behaviour.

We are delighted to announce that Wiltshire Human Givens has just been recognised as a Social Enterprise. We are now reconstituted as a Community Interest Company (CIC) which is a legal structure for organisations whose primary purpose is to provide a benefit to the community rather than to put money into the pockets of the directors or shareholders. We are not a charity, we are allowed to trade, but any profits made are asset-locked and will be put back into the business to improve the service to the community.
